Senior Software Engineer - Clickpipes (CDC/Streaming) @ClickHouse

Overview

The Senior Software Engineer role in the ClickPipes - Database Integrations team at ClickHouse involves addressing complex challenges in database-related and distributed systems to enable real-time data replication.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-throughput integrations with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB), data lakes (Iceberg, Delta Lake), and data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake).
• Debug complex issues in production and enhance system reliability through infrastructure improvements and automation.
• Write clear documentation for functionality and processes.
• Engage with customers to identify integration requirements and improve product offerings.
• Lead technical discussions and collaborate with teams for operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building data-intensive software solutions.
• Proficiency in Go or experience in systems programming with a willingness to learn Go.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure) and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and production debugging skills.
• Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms.
