Overview

The role involves working remotely as a Senior Software Engineer on the ClickPipes - Database Integrations team at ClickHouse, focusing on real-time data replication from databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-throughput integrations with databases such as Postgres, MySQL, MongoDB, and data lakes.
• Handle edge cases in production scenarios, including database upgrades and large transactions.
• Own end-to-end reliability, debugging complex production issues and building tools to increase system reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation and write clear documentation.
• Work directly with customers to understand their integration requirements.
• Lead technical discussions and influence product roadmaps.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in building data-intensive software solutions.
• Proficient in Go or willing to learn quickly.
• Cloud-native experience on at least one major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience with Kubernetes and strong production debugging skills.
• Effective communicator in both writing and verbally.
• Bonus: Experience with CDC technologies, durable execution frameworks, and modern data processing frameworks.
