Overview

Affirm is seeking a Senior Software Engineer specializing in React Native development to join the Repayment UX Engineering team. The role involves contributing to a full-stack team that aims to enhance financial lives through innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals, leading team members through problem-solving.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics during product development.
• Identify and advocate for solutions to project, process, or technology issues.
• Monitor and support team artifacts, contributing to operational availability.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership, improving code review and design standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in developing and architecting mobile applications, preferably with React Native.
• Proficient in Javascript/Typescript or similar languages.
• Experience in defining technical plans for significant features or system components.
• Ability to make substantial changes in a large code base safely.
• Demonstrated ownership of personal growth and strong communication skills.
