Senior Solutions Architect- Australia and New Zealand @GitLab

Overview

The role is for a Senior Solutions Architect in GitLab's ANZ team, based in Melbourne and focused on technical advisory within the region. The architect will leverage GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform to assist customers with digital transformation, addressing both technical requirements and business objectives across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validations of GitLab's platform.
• Drive the technical evaluation process including solution design, proof of concept, and workshop design.
• Collaborate with Account Executives on account strategies for customer acquisition and expansion.
• Build relationships with technical and business leaders to advocate for GitLab.
• Advise on software development, security, and cloud practices.
• Serve as a customer advocate, providing feedback to internal teams.
• Maintain and extend technical expertise in GitLab and related technologies.
• Invest in personal growth and knowledge sharing within the team.

Requirements

• Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in the end-to-end software development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing and deployment options.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations and design workshops.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
