Senior Solutions Architect - East @GitLab

Overview

GitLab is looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to assist prospects and customers in the East region of the United States. This role involves acting as a strategic technical advisor, guiding complex evaluations, and helping customers modernize their software development processes using GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide technical discovery, product demonstrations, and validation activities to confirm technical fit and improve win rates.
• Own the technical evaluation process for complex opportunities, including solution design and workshop facilitation.
• Develop end-to-end technical strategies for assigned accounts, expanding platform adoption and enabling transformation milestones.
• Collaborate with sales teams to shape account plans and align technical strategy with customer priorities.
• Advise on modern software development practices to improve delivery efficiency and security outcomes.
• Drive competitive analysis for complex opportunities and represent the voice of the customer in product feedback sessions.
• Mentor other Solutions Architects and contribute to team learning initiatives and documentation.

Requirements

• Experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or related roles guiding solution design and adoption planning.
• Ability to solve complex customer issues, including integration challenges.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on familiarity with GitLab or similar platforms.
• Experience facilitating workshops and contributing to technical assessments.
• Strong communication skills to adapt messages for different audiences.
• Relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Interest in continuous learning and applying transferable experience.
