Overview

GitLab is the intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, empowering organizations with developer productivity, operational efficiency, and enhanced security. The Senior Solutions Architect role in the Southern EMEA team focuses on advising GitLab prospects and customers in Turkey, leveraging AI capabilities within the platform to address technical requirements and business objectives across the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customer needs.
• Manage the technical evaluation process, including solution design and proof of concept ownership.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and sales teams to execute account strategies for customer acquisition and expansion.
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders to guide GitLab-driven transformation.
• Advise customers on modern software development and cloud practices, challenging existing approaches to improve ROI.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, providing insights to Product Management and Engineering.
• Maintain technical expertise in GitLab and related technologies, creating best practices and technical collateral.
• Invest in personal growth and development through ongoing learning and mentorship.

Requirements

• Experience in technical pre-sales or consulting roles, guiding customers through solution design.
• Proficiency in the software development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or similar platforms, mapping capabilities to customer use cases.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts, with ability to discuss deployment and security with technical teams.
• Skills in leading technical evaluations and conducting workshops.
• Clear communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and act as a customer advocate.
