Senior Telecom Billing Specialist @Twilio

Overview

Twilio is seeking a Senior Telecom Billing Specialist to join their team. This remote position will involve working with customers and partners to resolve billing issues and fraudulent misuse of services, involving data-oriented investigation and strategic dispute negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise account managers, accounting, and management on best practices to handle billing disputes.
• Negotiate with customers and carriers regarding resolution levers as per contractual terms.
• Identify and manage fraudulent misuse and billing errors with vendors and customers.
• Own the lifecycle of customer and vendor disputes from intake to resolution.
• Uncover discrepancies, overcharges, and unpaid balances due to various root causes.
• Analyze call and messaging data to identify mismatches or evidence of fraud.
• Build dashboards to communicate key metrics related to disputes.
• Negotiate dispute resolutions and settlements as the primary point of contact.
• Collaborate with data analytics, engineering, and accounting teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in telecom billing, revenue assurance, and/or fraud operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in dispute resolution or billing analysis.
• Project management experience.
• Proficient in data management tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, Looker, or SQL.
