Software Engineer, Full Stack @Pendo

Overview

Pendo is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer with a strong frontend focus to help build features that enhance customer experiences. This role involves working with technologies such as Vue, JavaScript, and TypeScript, while contributing to backend services and APIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Own well-scoped features from implementation through production and deliver consistent progress toward team goals.
• Build across the frontend and backend, focusing on TypeScript and Vue.js to deliver polished customer-facing experiences.
• Expand AI and MCP capabilities to improve customer interaction with Pendo data.
• Write maintainable, production-ready code and apply appropriate testing strategies.
• Utilize AI coding tools in daily workflows and review AI-generated code with strong engineering judgment.
• Participate in planning and technical discussions, providing feedback during code reviews.
• Identify improvements in code quality, reliability, and delivery processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Software Engineer building and shipping production web applications.
• Experience with full-stack applications, especially strong frontend experience in JavaScript or TypeScript with frameworks like Vue, React, or Angular.
• Daily use of AI tools in software development.
• Ability to independently deliver features and manage risks and blockers effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Location

This role is hybrid with in-office work required 3 days per week in Raleigh, NC.
