Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver quarterly goals for the team, leading engineers through challenges to solve open-ended problems.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics in the product development lifecycle, participating in ideation and decisions regarding risks and trade-offs.
• Identify and advocate for project, process, technology, or business issues, taking the lead in resolving them.
• Create and monitor metrics to support operations and availability, and assist with on-call efforts.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership through code review and design standards.
• Develop talent by providing feedback and guidance within the team.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Experience with backend systems using Python, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping web apps using React and working with batch processing or asynchronous workloads.
• Proficiency in defining technical plans for significant features with high-quality, maintainable code.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with a global team.
• Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
