Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Software Engineer to enhance their data pipeline service, ensuring reliable and efficient data movement from various sources to the data warehouse. This full-time position is based out of Bengaluru, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on core features of the product.
• Write connectors to integrate with source systems.
• Contribute to feature enhancements and bug fixes.
• Address challenges related to performance and scalability.
• Participate periodically in on-call rotation.
• Ensure Fivetran is a reliable and secure component of customers’ data infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience in coding within a production environment.
• Experience with reliable distributed systems and high-volume data management platforms.
• Proficiency in Java, cloud platforms, APIs, and databases.
• Ability to design software solutions that meet project requirements.
• Problem-solving skills and comfort using AI coding assistants.
• Familiarity with observability tools like New Relic or Grafana is a plus.
