Overview

The role involves joining Mercury, a fintech company focused on creating exceptional banking experiences for startups. The product engineering group is expanding, and they are seeking backend and full-stack engineers to build innovative products.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of small to medium projects and actively contribute to shaping Mercury’s future.
• Work in a close-knit team with a startup mentality.
• Collaborate with designers and product leaders to deliver outstanding user experiences.
• Become part of a dedicated team of experienced product engineers within various Mercury product groups.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of backend or full-stack development experience.
• Knowledge of or a desire to learn Haskell, React, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Strong product mindset and experience in building and launching new products.
• Ability to empathize with users to create appealing products.
• Skilled at balancing trade-offs and finding creative solutions.
• Familiar with incorporating AI tools into the development workflow.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits

The total rewards package includes a competitive salary, equity in the form of stock options or RSUs, and benefits. The target salary range for US employees is $122,400 to $158,400 USD, and for Canadian employees, it is $115,700 to $149,700 CAD.
