Overview

As a Solutions Architect in GitLab's Northern Europe team, you will be a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, helping them understand how GitLab's DevSecOps platform meets both technical requirements and business objectives. The role involves guiding organizations through their digital transformation journeys using strong technical expertise and customer empathy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate how GitLab's platform meets customer needs across the development lifecycle.
• Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design and workshops.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to shape and execute account strategies.
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through GitLab transformations.
• Advise customers on modern software development and related practices.
• Serve as the voice of the customer to Product Management and other internal teams.
• Maintain and extend technical expertise in GitLab and related technologies.
• Invest in personal growth and development through ongoing learning.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in the software development lifecycle and DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or similar platforms.
• Practical knowledge of cloud computing concepts.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations and design workshops.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Skill in building trusted relationships and acting as a customer advocate.
