Solutions Architect - MENA @GitLab

Overview

The Solutions Architect role at GitLab involves serving as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects in the MENA region, guiding them in understanding how GitLab's DevSecOps platform aligns with their technical and business objectives throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery, demos, and validation to demonstrate how GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform meets customer needs.
• Drive the technical evaluation process, including solution design, POC/POV ownership, and workshop design.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and sales teams in MENA to shape and implement account strategies.
• Build relationships with technical practitioners and business leaders, guiding them through transformation.
• Advise customers on software development, CI/CD, security, and cloud practices.
• Act as the voice of the customer, sharing feedback and insights with Product Management and other teams.
• Extend technical expertise in GitLab and DevSecOps, creating best practice guidance for customers and partners.
• Invest in personal growth through ongoing learning and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, consulting, or similar roles.
• Proficiency in the end-to-end software development lifecycle and modern DevSecOps practices.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab or comparable platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and technologies.
• Ability to lead technical evaluations and run workshops.
• Clear communication and presentation skills.
• Skill in building trusted relationships and acting as a customer advocate.
