Sr. Manager, Engineering Operations (PMO) @LendingTree

Overview

The role involves leading the team of agile project managers and delivery leads within LendingTree’s engineering organization. This position is hybrid with a schedule of in-office work from Tuesday to Thursday and remote work on Monday and Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of agile project managers and delivery leads supporting engineering teams.
• Own the engineering organization’s delivery planning and governance, including monthly goal-setting and delivery reviews.
• Lead prioritization processes with senior leaders to maintain clear organizational priorities.
• Synthesize delivery performance and feedback into actionable insights and escalations.
• Identify gaps in engineering delivery and lead cross-functional improvements.
• Build relationships across business functions to enhance alignment and execution.
• Manage relationships with staffing and contracting partners.
• Drive engagement and knowledge-sharing programs within technology.
• Support long-term initiative planning and technology budget management.
• Maintain understanding of engineering operating processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in technical program management or engineering operations.
• Experience leading project managers or similar teams.
• Strong people leadership skills with a proven track record.
• Exceptional facilitation and communication skills.
• Ability to use data and feedback to identify risks and make recommendations.
• Experience managing external vendors or contractors.
• Familiarity with agile/scrum frameworks and program management tools preferred.
• Experience in fintech or regulated financial services preferred.
