Sr. Network Engineer @LendingTree

Overview

The role involves leading the implementation, maintenance, optimization, and architectural design of LendingTree's enterprise network infrastructure. The company values curiosity, creativity, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including Fortinet firewalls, switches, and access points.
• Manage and optimize FortiSASE for secure remote access and SD-WAN connectivity.
• Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of critical services.
• Implement cloud networking solutions in AWS and Azure.
• Participate in incident response and define service level indicators for network services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and create automation scripts.
• Collaborate with InfoSec, DevOps, and Infrastructure Engineering teams.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or a related technical role.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Fortinet products.
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS and/or Azure.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and VPN technologies.
• Experience with scripting in Python, Ansible, or Terraform.

Location

This is a hybrid role requiring in-office presence in or near Charlotte, NC, with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
