    Overview

    The Staff Human Resources Information Systems Analyst, People Technology - Workday at GitLab will manage and evolve the people technology landscape, partnering with stakeholders to improve systems and drive scalable solutions. This role encompasses complex Workday initiatives and aims to enhance system reliability and usability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own the HRIS product roadmap, addressing gaps and driving improvements.
    • Diagnose root needs and co-design durable solutions beyond surface-level requests.
    • Lead Workday configuration, release readiness, and testing for annual programs.
    • Build and govern integrations across the People technology ecosystem.
    • Define and enforce security and access governance practices across People systems.
    • Create reports, dashboards, and analyses to facilitate decision-making with reliable data.
    • Drive mass data changes and system updates with precision.
    • Elevate system capability across the organization to enhance user proficiency.

    Requirements

    • Hands-on Workday expertise in HCM, compensation, benefits, and security.
    • Experience applying AI tools in people technology.
    • Background in building scalable technology in a public company environment.
    • Product ownership mindset for defining problems and evaluating tradeoffs.
    • Strong integration experience and excellent communication skills.
    • Strong judgment for assessing business impact and managing change.
    • Consulting instincts and ability to earn stakeholder trust.
    • Intellectual curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

    Salary Range

    The base salary for this role in the United States is between $126,400 and $213,600.
