Key Responsibilities

• Support GitLab’s strategic large prospects and customers.
• Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process.
• Conduct sales activities including prospecting and developing opportunities in large/strategic accounts.
• Ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products through strong account management.
• Contribute product ideas based on customer feedback.
• Generate qualified leads and develop new customers in collaboration with strategic channel partners.
• Expand knowledge of industry and competitive landscape.
• Prepare activity and forecast reports.
• Contribute to root cause analysis on wins/losses.
• Communicate lessons learned to relevant teams.
• Assist sales management in conveying customer needs.
• Utilize a consultative approach to address business issues with prospects.
• Develop account plans tailored to customer needs.
• Collaborate with Marketing on strategies.

Requirements

• Desire to see customers benefit from their investments.
• High degree of account management ability.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision on complex projects.
• Experience selling into large organizations.
• Proven sales techniques and ability to leverage established relationships.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
• Preferred experience with Git, Software Development Tools, and Application Lifecycle Management.
• Familiarity with GitLab.
• Willingness to travel if needed.
