Overview

The role of Strategic Account Executive for the Southeast region at GitLab involves driving enterprise growth by assisting influential organizations in adopting and expanding their use of an AI-powered DevSecOps platform. This position acts as a key connector between customer stakeholders and GitLab's field organization to establish long-term partnerships throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive strategic growth by leading GitLab's enterprise accounts across the Southeast and serving as a trusted technology advisor.
• Orchestrate winning sales strategies by collaborating with various internal specialists to deliver transformative solutions.
• Craft innovative solutions that align GitLab's platform with customers' long-term goals.
• Build strategic partnerships by understanding customers' industry landscapes and success metrics.
• Design and execute strategic account plans to expand GitLab usage within major accounts.
• Lead customer journeys from discovery through negotiation and implementation, ensuring a high-quality experience.
• Contribute to forecasting, pipeline reviews, and refine go-to-market strategies based on insights.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that communicate value and business outcomes.

Requirements

• Experience in driving complex B2B software sales cycles with enterprise customers, particularly in DevSecOps or SaaS solutions.
• Background in selling to large enterprise accounts in the Southeast United States.
• Knowledge of the Southeast enterprise market, including decision-making dynamics.
• Ability to drive business acquisition and develop long-term customer partnerships.
• Collaboration experience with channel and strategic partners.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in line with GitLab's values and travel as needed.
