Job Opportunity: Warehouse Keeper (Field Role)
The Warehouse Keeper will support warehouse operations by ensuring proper handling, storage, tracking, and dispatch of goods. This role is essential in maintaining accountability for donor-funded commodities and ensuring compliance with CRS policies and international supply chain standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and data entry registers.
- Prepare documentation for receiving, issuing, returning, disposal, and loss of assets.
- Track and report lost, stolen, or damaged items on a monthly basis.
- Maintain records of disposed assets for review and approval.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Support warehouse maintenance, including regular inspection and cleaning.
- Prepare storage facilities for receiving and dispatching goods.
- Assist with loading and offloading of items.
- Ensure proper storage conditions in line with organizational standards.
- Asset Management & Control:
- Support tracking and movement of assets for storage, disposal, or redistribution.
- Process staff requests for assets and manage issuance from store.
- Assist in maintaining accountability for fixed and non-fixed assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory-related roles.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse and inventory management practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
- Good communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
