Overview

Brex is seeking a Manager for their Collections & Recovery team to enhance operational performance and manage customer relationships related to past-due balances. The role emphasizes collections strategy and team leadership within a hybrid work environment based in Salt Lake City.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Collections team in managing accounts from failed payments to legal recovery.
• Hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Oversee early- and late-stage delinquency management and define appropriate account actions.
• Coordinate with Risk and Legal for overarching account decisions.
• Monitor team and portfolio performance, providing insights and recommendations based on analytics.
• Ensure compliance with collections practices and quality standards.
• Direct daily operations and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in collections or credit operations.
• 2+ years of team management experience.
• Direct management of delinquent accounts and negotiations.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in performance monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
