Resident Solution Architect @Fivetran

Overview

The Resident Solution Architect at Fivetran is responsible for supporting enterprise customers using dbt, helping to implement solutions and improve data practices. This role is part of the Professional Services team and focuses on empowering data developers to create and disseminate organizational knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage impactful customer technical projects, including implementations and troubleshooting.
• Consult on architecture and design.
• Ensure strategic dbt platform customers are adopting the product.
• Collaborate with Sales, Support, and other teams at dbt Labs.
• Provide feedback to product and engineering teams for improvement.
• Become a product expert in dbt within the modern data stack.

Requirements

• Experience working with enterprise customers in a technical architect or consulting role.
• Deep expertise in one data platform (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift).
• At least 2 years of experience with dbt, including 1 year with the dbt platform.
• Proficient in SQL with some Python experience.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent communication skills with stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a remote environment valuing transparency and collaboration.
• ~10% travel may be expected for customer visits and company events.
