Overview
Twilio is looking for a Senior Manager, Accounts Payable to oversee its global Accounts Payable function and lead operational execution, process excellence, and compliance across vendor disbursements and expense management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of global Accounts Payable, vendor disbursements, expense management, and credit card reconciliations.
- Manage and mentor a high-performing Accounts Payable team, establishing KPIs and development plans.
- Oversee month-end close activities for Accounts Payable, including reconciliations and balance sheet analysis.
- Standardize Operating Procedures and maintain up-to-date process documentation.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely delivery of audit requests.
- Partner with various teams to optimize purchase-to-pay workflows and vendor onboarding.
- Resolve complex vendor escalations and payment queries while maintaining cross-functional relationships.
Requirements
- Required:
- Minimum of 12 years of experience with at least 5 years managing Accounts Payable teams in a large US multinational.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with proficiency in enterprise ERPs (e.g., Oracle, Workday).
- Knowledge of US operations, GAAP, SOX controls, and multi-currency disbursements.
- Excellent team management, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Desired:
- Experience with high-volume US vendor portfolios, 1099 compliance, and automation initiatives in SaaS environments.
- Knowledge of US and International tax/statutory requirements.
