Overview

The role of Senior Manager, Financial Systems at Affirm involves leading the development and implementation of financial systems to support the company’s accounting needs. The position is part of the Finance team, which ensures the organization remains financially sound and strategically positioned for growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end development activities across the financial systems landscape, including architecture, design, testing, deployment, and support.
• Define the enterprise architecture and technical roadmap for global ERP and EPM platforms.
• Architect, build, and deploy integrations for financial and operational data across various platforms.
• Collaborate with senior management to align priorities and establish a shared roadmap for Financial Systems.
• Oversee team operations and system availability, ensuring monitoring and alerting processes are in place.
• Foster a culture of quality and ownership by establishing code review standards.
• Develop talent by providing feedback, guidance, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with ERP, financial reporting, and planning platforms.
• Experience integrating ERP and EPM platforms for financial consolidation and reporting.
• Familiarity with technologies such as REST, SOAP APIs, SQL, and Python.
• Strong understanding of accounting and finance processes.
• Ability to lead technical design across financial applications.
• Knowledge of governance and security in financial systems.
• Proven ability to build and retain high-performing teams.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
