Overview

Fivetran is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test with extensive industry experience to design, develop, and maintain test automation tools and frameworks. The ideal candidate will focus on enhancing testing efficiency and coaching quality engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Review requirements and provide technical feedback.
• Design scalable automation frameworks in Java.
• Automate testing strategies across multiple environments.
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines with robust validation layers.
• Build internal tools using AI/LLM technologies to improve testing and developer productivity.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to promote a culture of quality ownership.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software industry experience with a passion for quality and automation.
• Deep understanding of OOP principles and strong proficiency in Java.
• Expertise in designing scalable automation frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database testing and ETL/data pipeline validation is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI/LLM tools for engineering tasks.
