Senior Software Engineer - Integrations 3P - Platform @Elastic

Overview

The role involves joining the Integrations Team as a Senior Software Engineer at Elastic, a company focused on enabling businesses to utilize their data effectively through search and AI technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and evolve the Elastic MCP server and its infrastructure, primarily using Go.
• Create the platform for universal agent skills, including authoring and publishing tools.
• Ensure the correctness of skills and tools through evaluations.
• Design and deliver integrations within third-party AI ecosystems in collaboration with the product team and partners.
• Contribute to the Elastic CLI to improve developer efficiency.
• Develop and maintain libraries, tools, and integrations related to the Elastic Stack in languages including Go and Rust.
• Provide product thinking and insights on what features to build.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks and knowledge of LLMs, agents, and protocols.
• Significant experience with Go and familiarity with additional languages.
• Knowledge of client-server networking, HTTP, and RESTful APIs.
• Comfort with collaborating on codebases in various programming languages.
• Strong product thinking and focus on usability and developer experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to work as part of a remote, distributed team.
