Overview
Figma is seeking a Support Engineer for their AI Infrastructure & Tooling team to enhance the Product Support experience using AI, automation, and integrated systems. This role involves collaborating with various teams to create intelligent solutions that optimize customer support workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and operationalize AI-powered workflows to improve Product Support experiences.
- Design and maintain integrations across Decagon, Zendesk, Figma admin tooling, and other platforms.
- Incorporate relevant metadata into support conversations to enhance issue resolution.
- Utilize LLMs and AI patterns for classification, summarization, routing, and automation.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, and Support teams on requirements and implementation.
- Create quality checks and operational guardrails for AI workflows.
- Define success metrics, track adoption, and iterate based on outcomes.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with integrations, automations, or internal tools in customer-facing systems.
- Strong proficiency in back-end technologies and languages (e.g., Ruby, Python, Go, C++, PostgreSQL).
- Hands-on experience with LLM-powered workflows and AI automations.
- Ability to translate ambiguous support problems into measurable technical solutions.
- Proven experience designing AI workflows with deployment practices.
